It’s a great drive down from London, to the south-east of England, and then turn east on the A20,towards Faversham and Canterbury. Baldwins Gate is situated on the outskirts of Deal. I had been there for a lunch meetingat The George Hotel,which is very nicely situated with views across to France. When it came to get a drink after our meal we made our way towards TheCanterbury Arms to enjoy some locally sourced craft cask ales and beers in atmospheric surroundings.
